Hey!
Whenever i try to export a movie ive done in Final cut pro nothing happens. I click ''Export movie'' and nothing happens. Then if i try to make it with Media Browser or Apple Devicesi get this error ''The operation couldn't be completed. (com.apple.compressor.compressorKit.ErrorDomain error -1)''.
I'm running Final cut pro x 10.0 on a mac book pro OS X.
Help please!

You need to update the software.
I'm having the same problem and just posted the same thing. Did you figure it out ?
What versions OS and FCP X are you running?

I am working on a brand new iMac, with only updated software. But...same problem.
I have been surfing the web for answers for a couple of hours now, tried several things, but no result.
Anyone an idea?
Has anyone found an answer to this question of sharing from FCP? I am having the same problem. I cannot share my projects to Facebook or anyway else anymore. When I try to share from the icon or the drop down menu, there is NO response at all. It was working fine last week. Help!
WWhat version are you using? What exactly happens when you try to share? Is everything grayed out? Something else?
Hey thanks for the reply Tom. No everything is not grayed out. The share icon is gray until I click it and then it turns blue. However once I goto click Facebook, YouTube, MasterFile, or etc., nothing happens. Its totally non-responsive. The same occurs if I use the drop down menu. I'm using FCP 10 with the latest update and OS X.
TThe dial doesn't change in the Dashboard? Cmd-9 to open the background task window.
Dear FCPX users,
I had this problem a month ago, just using my newest Mac with all updated versions of my software and after skimming the net and trying everything, also this support forum and than after pulling out all of my hair, I just tried something that worked:
I made a whole new library, event and project and just copied all my 10 smaller films into a new timeline in this new event. So just copy paste from the original timelines into 10 new projects. And than it worked!
This forum explained that it probably was an corrupt project. An earlier poster had mentioned deleting some files, he thought where corrupt, that helped for him.
